Scheduling: A credit or debit card is required to book any appointment with Salon Yaakun.
Appointment Reminder and Confirmation: As a courtesy, Salon Yaakun (SY) will send a confirmation text or email confirming your appointment, 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. You will receive a text from a five-digit number (Vagaro) indicating you to respond by clicking on the link provided. When you click on the link, it notifies Salon Yaakun and your appointment is automatically confirmed. Please note that if you reply to the automated message, Salon Yaakun does not receive this communication. If Salon Yaakun does not receive your confirmation 24 hours ahead, SY will text or call you directly with a final confirmation request. If no response is received, your appointment will be automatically canceled and you will receive a text notifying you of the cancelation. This is to ensure that all clients have access to appointments as sometimes clients are placed on a waiting list.
Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule your appointment, call and/or text Salon Yaakun at (619) 534-4940 or email email@example.com with your request. Please provide preferred days and times that you would like to come in and SY will try to accommodate your request as soon as possible.
Cancellations: A cancellation via phone, text, or email no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment is required to avoid the cancellation fee of 50% of the service booked.
No shows: If you “no show” to your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the service booked. If you no show twice, no future appointments will be scheduled with Salon Yaakun.
15-Minute Grace Period: Salon Yaakun likes to allow maximum scheduled appointment time to provide each client with a relaxed and exceptional service experience. Salon Yaakun understands that life happens and you may be running late. As a courtesy, SY offers a 15-minute grace period. You must be in the chair, ready to go. Anything past 15 minutes takes away from your service (e.g., no complimentary services, limited consultation, and a rushed haircut). Tardiness also disrupts scheduling and the quality of service for clients after you. If you do not arrive within the 15-minute grace period, you are considered a “no show,” you will be charged 100% of your booked service, and will need to reschedule your appointment.
